McAfee´s line of Antivirus software allows home users, businesses, the public sector, and service providers to protect their networks and systems from threats and unwanted disruptions. With over 3,300 employees, McAfee provides from 50 worldwide offices.
McAfee´s Security Alliance program is a multi-dimensional program offering a wide range of services and benefits to partners with diverse levels of participation. With over 8,000 partners divided in various categories such as Technology Partners, Service Provider Partners, OEM Partners, and Strategic Alliance Partners, McAfee was presented with the challenge of offering partners a user-friendly marketing tool which would offer different levels of accessibility according to what type of partnership the company had with McAfee. McAfee also needed to develop this marketing application tool which would allow partners to customize McAfee website banners and advertisements to fit their particular needs and profiles.
In order to make the McAfee Marketing Kit application accessible to partners only, Truelogic developed a multi-level security system which would enable the different users to access information and services that coincide with their permission level. The next step was to develop a database to store elements and apply them to a searchable user interface. In order to provide an efficient and user-friendly method for McAfee partners to manage their marketing materials, Truelogic designed, developed and implemented a step-by-step interface in which users could customize marketing materials with their own logos, links and contact information.
